Our busy lives make us yearn for a private space that appeals to our imagination, and in which we can dream and recharge, play and enjoy our family and friends. And while water conservation is a more urgent issue these days, we don’t want to give up our visions of a verdant and beautifully crafted landscape. I can design these spaces for you.
I specialize in designs that incorporate a variety of exceptional drought tolerant plants that thrive in our climate. These designs complement their surroundings and reflect their owners’ lifestyle without sacrificing abundance and beauty.
I help define your needs and tastes with a conceptual landscape design plan that expresses your expectations. (Please read more about this process in the page “How I work”.) I can also consult on site to help resolve a challenge you are having in your garden.
My background in residential landscape design and gardening for various climates and cultural/physical environments, especially in Southern California, provides me with a wide range of resources. The central core of every design concept, however, is to capture your vision through dialogue with you so that your garden is ultimately an expression of your tastes and needs.
My projects extend from Ramona/East County to Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla and other coastal communities and from Bonsall/North County to Coronado Island. I am also available for consultations outside of San Diego County.
